The
probe on the Isco 4220 uses a differential pressure transducer to measure the
depth of the liquid. The probe accurately senses pressure even when covered with
silt and sand, and the venting system automatically compensates for changes in
atmospheric pressure. This technology provides accurate measurement at sites
where wind, steam, foam, turbulence, or air temperature fluctuations exist.
